Mira Campau is a Copenhagen based documentary filmmaker of American and Danish descent. Her film The Red Line (2026) competed for best Swedish short in Tempo Documentary Film Festival and screens as part of the CPH:DOX 2026 programme. Her debut short BIG DUBB (2019) screened as part of San Francisco Dance Film Festival and San Francisco Black Film Festival in 2020.

She is a recipient of stipends of  Anders Sandrews Foundation, Augustinus Foundation and Fredrika Bremers.
She holds a BA in Anthropology from Aarhus University, and most recent an MA in Directing Documentary from Stockholm University of the Arts (Dramatiska Institutet), where she did her master thesis on Artistic Approaches to Anonymity. 
Mira is currently developing on her first feature documentary.
